Social Ecology Press publishes accounts of human behavior, natural resources and the environment. The goal of the Press is to provide affordable books for classroom adoption and the natural resource professional community.

Social Ecology Press publishes both contemporary and historic accounts of human interaction with the environment. The classics in rural sociology are republished to provide contemporary students and professionals with a perspective often lost from present discussion. Contemporary books focus on social impact assessment.

Our intention is to provide books which can be used individually or in sets, mixed and matched with the specific objectives of a course or workshop.
